A daily care routine helps a ROLAND 700 start cleanly and reduces avoidable stoppages. Inspect the feeder air path and sheet guides, clean the dampening system, check roller pressures and fountain-solution readings, and examine the delivery chain, grippers, powder system and alignment. During a planned shutdown, isolate energy sources and follow the machine manual before cleaning or inspection. Do not bridge guards or operate inside a moving press. Record abnormalities, measurements and replaced parts so that recurring faults can be traced rather than guessed.
